The novelty – vodka “Field Marshal”

First Gomel manufactures of alcoholic products started in Rumyantsev and Paskevitch estate almost 200 years ago. Nowadays this tradition is going on further by one of the oldest enterprises in alcoholic beverage industry RUE “Gomel Distillery” which represents the so-called generic visiting card of the Gomel City and Gomel Region – vodka “Field Marshal”.

You’ll ask: “Why “Field Marshal”?”. The answer to the question one can find on the pages of the history.

In each belarusian city there is an old place where the history closely entwines with the present, and there is  an inimitative atmosphere, giving “the Heart of the City” its innate local colour. In Gomel this “heart” is rightfully considered to be the famous Rumyantsev and Paskevitch palace and park complex  which is one of the biggest Gomel points of interest today.

The Gomel History of the 18th and beginning of the 19th centuries is connected with such well-known and famous names of  people from Russian military history field as marshal Petr Alekseevich Rumyantsev-Zadunaiski and Field Marshal General Ivan Federovich Paskevitch. But these people are known not only because of their feats of arms. Their contribution to the establishing and development of the Gomel estate is much big. In 1796 because of the care of  P.A. Rumyantsev-Zadunaiski  was finished  the building of the magnificent palace in the russian classicism style which even nowadays  is one the most beautiful monument of architecture. In the days of I.F. Paskevith our city received the palace and park complex that became the the beautiful sightseeing not only of Gomel but of all Belarus.

Vodka “Field Marshal” – is the tribute to the memory and traditions, and first of all to the tradition of the quality.
